Building Ekiga (formerly GnomeMeeting) on Slackware without Gnome:

I managed to keep the requirements down to the bare minimum. You'll have to install the following  on top of a stock Slackware 12.0 system:

* pwlib 1.10.7 (and no other version)
* opal 2.2.8 (and no other version)

And then of course Ekiga 2.0.9 itself.

Ekiga is very picky about the versions of the installed pwlib and OPAL packages... it demands exactly the versions that I mentioned further up.
