gd-nox: GD is an code library for the dynamic creation of images.
gd-nox: GD is commonly used to generate charts, graphics, thumbnails, and most
gd-nox: anything else, on the fly. While not restricted to use on the web,
gd-nox: the most common applications of GD involve web site development.
gd-nox: This package is compiled *without* X dependency (cannot generate
gd-nox: XPM bitmaps), but it *does* depend on the freetype2 package being
gd-nox: installed!
