Here is is a version of Slackware-14.0's 'mesa' package which has been rebuilt with the parameter "--enable-shared-glapi" to the configuration. This results in an added library: libglapi.so. This library is used by some games. So far I found only one: "Trine 2" which requires this library in order to run. If you do not own "Trine 2" then there is no reason to upgrade your mesa with my modified package. If you *do* upgrade mesa and you installed proprietary graphics drivers from NVIDIA or ATI, then you will have to re-install those drivers after the mesa package upgrade or else you won't have OpenGL acceleration anymore! The mesa package is meant for a 32-bit Slackware system. You will find a 32-bit "compat32" package for a 64-bit Slackware multilib system in the "multilib" subdirectory. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eric Hameleers, alien@slackware.com, 23-feb-2013
