Well, for now I don't really think I need people to maintain packages
because I seem to have it pretty well under control. Patrick does all
the decisions about what to upgrade and all, and I just make sure that it
works on Alpha.

There are a few packages that I will require help on. Those are currently
xchat, xaw3d, and pmake. Those all might require some serious C skills.
Fun stuff if you're interested.

Of course, this does not rule out the possibility of needing people to
help maintain packages in the future. I'm just saying that as of this
very moment, package maintainence is not such a big deal. What I really
need is people pointing out all the bugs in the packages I've made. And
since X is coming along quite nicely, we'll be getting to that stage soon
enough.
