[slackware-alphadevel] immediate plans

I haven't seen any showstopping bug reports come in over the weekend. So
here's the plan... assuming the ftp site comes back up by tomorrow
(Monday), I'm going to dump everything on public ftp, make an
announcement, and open up a forum on slackware.com. I personally think
it's about time that everyone can get to it, and I don't see any major
problems with the port that prevent me from putting it up.

There are still bugs to work out, but that's okay. With more people
downloading it, I'll get a wider range of machines and problems to figure
out. Besides, the New York show is in one week and I need to put it out
before then. I'll just give myself a week to deal with the aftermath of
making it available.

I want to keep this list going in its current closed state, since I've
gotten a lot of good help and feedback from you guys. No sense cluttering
up a good list with hundreds of "how do I install????" messages. I'd also
like to keep the rsync server up in its closed state. That way, you can
all still use it to download everything, without having to fight off the
hordes clogging up the ftp site.

Sound good to everyone? Any big huge things I've forgotten?

print map{chr(-$n[$i++]+ord)} sort(split(//,'place random string here')),"\n";
