The generic, gen_smp, and avanti images all have serial console support
compiled into the kernel. The miata/lx164 image does not, but I can add
that if that turns out to be a problem.
I believe that the /etc/inittab will need to be modified to spawn an
agetty on the serial port. I will be looking at that soon - probably
later today. First, I need to get some updated kernel images out with RTC
support and build a few minor things. I also need to figure out why one
person is having issues with a Multia and continue investigations on the
bootable CD.
