I did an rsync yesterday and I did an install tonight.
I was able to install cleanly, no problems;) I was not
able to get the generic kernel to work. I was looking
on the message board on the slackware site and caught
the post that the future domain scsi controller might
be causing the problem in the generic kernel. I'll
have to give that a try. At this point I don't see any
reason why we can't use XFree 4.0.2. So far GNOME and
KDE are working properly. I'm still not able to get
enlightenment working.. but at this point I'm not very
interested in it anyways.. they have not been doing
much development lately;) Is there anything that needs
to be tested? I was really happy with how smooth the
install went!
