Couple of things:
(1) There are now four netboot images. Two for 32-bit SPARCs, two for
64-bit machines. One each for color.gz and serial.gz. Pick the one
appropriate to your system. NFS installs seem to go without a hitch
now, so you can safely consider that an option now. The included
tftpconfig utility will help you set up an existing Slackware machine
to be a netboot server.
(2) I've made another ISO image available through the rsync server. It's
a mini bootable ISO containing these directories:
boot/
images/
kernels/
slakware/a1/
All the text files in the toplevel.
It's 67MB in size, so maybe this will help a lot of people. It's
ready to go, just download it and burn to a CD. It's just the A
series, but you can do an install of that and see how it goes.
The rsync image name is "slackware-sparc-iso-mini". Use the same
username and password as you do for the other two trees.
Have at it!
