[slackware-sparcdevel] Sun Netra X1

This looks like an interesting system. UltraSparc 400 MHz, 128 MB
of PC133 std RAM, 20 gig IDE drive (brand unknown), dual ethernet,
Solaris 8, 1U rack mount, for $995. I think I might try to get me
one of these and see if Slackware will run on it. As far as I can
see it has no video or CDROM, but these things are typically not
needed for racked servers. I guess it's network booting to install
or rescue the machine.

I'm thinking of these for field deployment at client sites for use
as remote firewall/servers. This may be just the thing I need, so
I'm glad we got Slackware going on Sparc, including serial console
support (as these need). They are PCI based, but I suspect that
will be just like other UltraSparc PCI.

Anyone have any experience with these, yet?
