[slackware-sparcdevel] Javastation

Anyone have a JavaStation? I have one here and just got it working today.
It wasn't that hard. The kernel image I have in the tree had an error,
but a recompile fixed that.

I'm planning on making a /javastation directory in the SPARC tree. I was
thinking about packing up a JavaStation NFS root filesystem similar to how
we pack up ZipSlack, but spread it out a bit more. You would take these
big tarballs and extract them on your NFS server to construct the root
filesystem for your JavaStation. I'm thinking of four tarballs:

   js-base A and N series
   js-devel D series
js-x11r6 X and possibly the XAP series
js-extra AP and perhaps KDE or something like that

Any thoughts on this? Ideas for how I could better break this up or put
something together for the JS? Aside from the tar files, there will be a
script or a document or maybe both that will walk you through configuring
the root filesystem for the JavaStation (writing the fstab file, the
XF86Config file, and so on) as well as configuring the server (RARP/DHCP,
the kernel image, NFS root export).
