For some strange reason the /etc/XF86Config file that 'xf86config'
creates has errors.
After configuring X with xf86config I tried to run startx and got the
following error:
Config Error: /etc/XF86Config:531
Modes 640x400
^^^^^^^
Mode name expected
X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
For some reason the program forgot to put quotation marks around the
640x400 bit - strange. The same error was to be found on line 586.
I have no idear what causes this, but now you know ;-)
