I found the kernel config that goes along with the Debian 2.2.17 generic
kernel image. It's attached to this email. If everyone who's having
trouble with the generic Slackware kernel could attempt to build one with
the Debian config and try booting it up, that would be great.
If you can build and boot a working kernel with their config, it'll be
time for me to start diffing and get a working generic config together.
