Hi Chris,

I started from scratch.. since I really screwed things
up. In any case, I got everything back up. KDE is
running fairly well. The one thing that does not work
is enlightenment, I'll have to take a look at that. I
tried out pine, and it does not work. I'll try to
recompile it and see if what options I can pass onto
it.

I have not moved onto the kernel stuff yet, I'll do
that after I play with pine.
