Great news everyone, I now have a working config for a generic 2.2.18
kernel.
I admit that the configuration is very minimal and not suited for a
default Slackware kernel, but it's a start. If you have been following
this list you will know that it has been extremely difficult to create
something bootable for this box (AlphaServer 400 4/233)!
I have attached the config file for the kernel for you to look at.
I will now start to modify the configuration to get as close as possible
to Chris' default kernel. Let's see how close we can get them and still
have this box boot it...
I have tried the same configuration settings with a 2.2.17 kernel, and
that refuses to work :-( So I guess using 2.2.18 for the Alpha port will
be a good choice ;-)
