I'm about to do 2.2.18 modules, kernels, and pcmcia stuff. Does anyone
have any new config files they'd like me to build? Even if you're not
quite finished making the full-featured kernel, I could probably throw it
into the kernels directory as a work in progress. Just make sure that
it's got support for ide devices, networking, some scsi, etc. You know...
the basics. Look at my config files for ideas.
I ask this because it looks like I'm going to be demoing the Alpha port at
the New York Linux World at the end of January. There will most likely be
demo discs to give out, and they have a few weeks of lead time. So, if
you've got a kernel config that's almost ready to go, please send it my
way soon! Make sure to tell me what machine it's for. SMP does not need
to be enabled.
