I need to start thinking about what kinds of programs I can demo on the
Alpha at the New York show. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll
probably need some time to learn how to use whatever I demo, which is why
I'm asking early.
Ideally, it would show off the speed of the machine and be shiny enough
that people walking by stop to look. On a somewhat related note, we're
not going to have any Intel machines at the Slackware booth. The Alpha is
going to fill in for the Intel when it needs to :)
Well, everyone think about what I can do to demo this stuff. I'm going to
go try to figure out why ping is broken.
