Hi Chris,

I finally got my system reinstalled. It turned out
that it was just my disklabel that was screwed up. In
anycase, I got X running, but did run into a problem.
KDE is not starting up. I did an rsync not too long
ago, so it's the current packages for KDE. The problem
is that the symlinks for the kde libs and for the qt
libs are not there. I looked in /var/adm/scripts and
found that only the kdebase package had a setup
script. So.. all of the other packages are not
creating the required symlinks for example:
/opt/kde/lib/libkdecore.so.3 -> libkdecore.so.3.0.0

I also noticed, that enlightenment does not start up.
I've tried switching to it through GNOME and from the
xwmconfig util, no go.

Also, I noticed that in the menu installation, after I
select the packages to install in any subset, it will
ask me if I want to install each package as it goes
through the list. Is that the normal behaviour?

This time, all of the package descriptions showed up
during the install, so that bug is gone;)

Well, I'm going to try and finish my list of packages
that I've tested.

I am still looking at the nfs install bug. I might
have a fix. I'll play with it some more before sending
it.
