I've reported a bug about 3 times now and have heard nothing.
It's hard to believe that I'm the only one having this problem.

Belowis what I reported on November 29th:
Okay, I dl'ed the ISO yesterday, burnt it to a CD, went home and
booted it on a Sparc IPX and a Sparc LX, and, on both machines, when I
got to the login prompt, and typed 'root', this is what's displayed:
 [[D[[D<CapsLock turns on>
^-------- this is a space.

So, the letters 'r', 'o', and 't' produce:
r = space
o = [[D
t = toggles CapsLock

This is on both an IPX and an LX using a Type5 and Type4 keyboard.
Am I the only one having this problem!?

And, when I boot the IPX with a serial console it produces some
message about (I'm not sure exactly)
'blah, blah spawing too fast. waiting 5 minutes.'
and just keeps repeating it, with no login prompt ever produced.
If I remember correctly, it's something about getty, I think. I'm not
at the machine right now, so I can't try it.

This is the command I ran to rysnc the ISO:

rsync -lprtz --progress --delete --checksum --block-size=2048 \
  sparcdevel@topsecret.osd.bsdi.com::slackware-sparc-iso .

This is probably the third time I've reported this problem, but no one
seems to care about it. If I don't get any help, I won't be able to
test anything.

Thanks,
