Dept. of Environment 2001 Waste Watcher Award
PTME is a non-profit, arts & environmental organization dedicated to improving Greater Philadelphia through the creative reuse of materials. Our programs reduce and redirect waste from the trash stream by redistributing surplus materials to artists, educators and communities. Simultaneously, our collection efforts educate businesses and the general public about the exciting possibilities of recycling.

We are certainly not limited to just Artists however as we maintain an Arts and Environmental Network whose members & partners include: Artists, Teachers, Students, Arts & Environmental Organizations, Community Groups, individuals, government officials, and 'mainstream' businesses.

We are currently evaluating new possibilities for a permanent or long term home. If you have any ideas, leads, or even buildings or space you wish to donate, feel free to drop us a message. 8)
