Slackware Alpha Development Tree Now Available At ftp.slackware.com!

The Slackware Linux Project announces the public availability of the
-current tree for Alpha machines. This tree is the active development
branch. As such, updates are made frequently and the tree may not be
stable. Users should consult the ChangeLog.txt file for information
regarding the latest fixes and additions to the tree.

This is not an official release, but the availability of the active
development tree to the public. Be advised that you may encounter
bugs and other problems with the port. We ask all users trying out
Slackware for the Alpha to report any bugs that they may encounter.

If you are interested in trying out Slackware for the Alpha, please be
sure to read all the documentation in the main directory:

   ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/alpha/slackware-current/

It explains booting, installation, and any known bugs with the
distribution.

Enjoy!
